The problem
Barbershops, hair salons, nail studios and vets in Chile run on their appointment book. Every empty slot is money lost, whether it comes from a no-show, a last-minute cancellation, or a customer who never booked at all.
The existing tools charge a commission on every booking, so the more a business grows, the more it pays. We wanted a product that helps fill the schedule and charges a flat monthly fee.
My role
I co-founded Rezerb and own everything except the backend: brand, product design, UX and UI, and the frontend in React and Tailwind CSS. That covers the marketing site, the public booking page each business shares, and the dashboard where businesses run their day.

The key decision: a waitlist where customers propose the time
Talking with businesses, we saw a pattern: when a customer couldn’t find an open slot that worked for them, they simply didn’t book. That demand was invisible, and the business never knew it existed.
So instead of a passive waitlist, Rezerb lets the customer propose a time. The business gets the request and accepts it if they can take the appointment then. A customer who would have left now becomes a booking, and the business decides whether to open that hour.
The same list fills cancellations: when someone cancels, the next customer waiting gets notified and can take the slot.

Pricing as part of the product
A flat monthly fee with no commission per booking. The pricing section makes the comparison explicit, so the value is clear before anyone signs up.

Outcomes
